Attacking from planets
There will be 2 updates coming in the next day or two.
Sector attacking (with only fighters)
Sending fighters to attack a sector. Sending fighters to a sector will clear out sector fighters, defences (base stars), and mines. This will obviously be expensive but a much needed update as once a planet becomes a month old they are impossible to attack with your ship.
The cost will be 5 energy per ship (ships and energy on planet) and 5 turns.
The planned math will be:
(((Attacker_ships – (defender_mines)) – defender_ships) – defender_basestar) Meaning an attacker must destroy their mine field first and then sector fighters and finally base stars. There willl obviously be some randomness added into the mix but the defender will almost always have a huge advantage. Expect an equal number of fighters attacking to mines and fighter defence, if not more!
Planet attacking
Plant attacking will be a little more difficult
- First you need a Probe which you will be able to buy (and are expensive).
- Probes will have a chance of receiving information about a planet. It will depend on your level with using probes, and the planets ability to jam probe readings. There is also a chance that your probe just dosen’t function.
- Once you have a probe and you send it out you have another % chance of what data it collects. It will try to send you data on each of the planets, sector defence, planet defence etc. Some information will be correct, while some will be vague.
- Now that you have a sector with planet information you can now send fighters to attack. In your sector log section (on the page you sent the probe from) you will have a link to attack a specific planet.
